Loretta Eby’s mind percolates what her eyes see and she translates it all into glass objects.  Her general observations of the world around her inspire the brilliant glass objects she creates in her studio.

Eby became enamored with glass in 1977 as a student at the Cleveland Institute of Art.  In 1987, she opened her studio at Happy Valley Pottery in Watkinsville.  Her husband, Jeff Jackson, creates his own stainless steel and glass sculptures in the studio.

Loretta is still enamored with the fluidity of heated glass and the Zen-like flow of glassblowing.  she continues to explore new techniques to achieve varying textures, shapes and hues.
