Gary Gould, owner and chief designer, is the driving force behind Madera Bonita & Co. Incorporated in 2002 with a mission to produce fine wood products that are both beautiful and functional, Madera Bonita hand builds upscale turned wood products such as salad & fruit bowls, salt & pepper shakers, kitchen canister sets and other functional turned wood products.
They use segmented construction as a design tool. This process involves cutting small pieces of wood and assembling them into rough form which is then turned into shape on a hi-speed lathe. This enables designs that would be impossible to create from solid wood.
